She is line-bred Hayes Roman Cloud and Bright Eyes Brother, so her pedigree carries speed coupled with looks good enough to halter. Her sire Legend Bright was a national and world show top-10 winner with a ROM in the aged stallions category. She is broke to ride and a finished horse with a good handle and good sense in addition to plenty of athletic ability. April is a line-bred King mare who traces back to the hall of fame stallion 8 times. Her sire, Anns Little King, has a performance ROM and 40 points in heading and heeling. Her dam is a granddaughter of Blondy's Dude, and April displays a striking resemblence to her famous great-grandsire. April stands at 14.3 hh. She is a gentle horse who sports a very typey profile for the Arabian lover coupled with a world-class pedigree for endurance, ranch work or any variety of disciplines. Best of all, she has obvious appaloosa color. Her sire is a son of the national champion stallion Skip Go Grand. Her dam is an own daughter of the Varian stallion Desperado V! We purchased her from Jim Brinkman at the fall 2000 Pitzer Ranch sale, and she has size, (15.3 hh) athletic ability, and a pedigree chock-full of point-earning performance horses to compliment her gentle nature. Lydia is a granddaughter of the AQHA Superhorse Mr Baron Red. She also carries the bloodlines of Rhinstone Jack, RBM Duster Wolf and Two Eyed Patti. She's branded with the famous HP iron, and is a finished horse who has undergone professional training, been heeled on and also been used as a pick-up horse for the local school rodeo team.
