Champagne N Moonlite  
Luna is a 2011 gold/dun champagne we raised here at the B and L Horse Ranch. She is an attractive mare with a muscular build, correct conformation and a feminine look to compliment her uncommon color combination. She is also good-minded, easy-going and willing to please. Her sire WR Champagne Chill was our gorgeous gold/dun champagne world show top-10 stallion. Her dam Moon Light Date was our jet-black daughter of the AQHA performance champion Bonanza Dee Bar, (a stallion with 292.5 performance points, a superior in heading and a performance ROM). Luna's pedigree combines speed and cow sense with a great aptitude for roping and ranch work. Bloodlines include Major Bonanza, Coys Bonanza, Docs Dee Bar, My Skip Vanzi, Crotion Oil, Poco Bueno, Leo and Top Deck. Luna stands at 15.1 hh. She is 
five-panel negative for PSSM1, HYPP, GBED, HERDA and MH. She is bred to our homozygous ApHC stallion Paradise In White for a 2019 foal. Price on this mare is $3,500. 
Dixie Shidrift 
Dixie Shidrift is a 2006 medium slate grulla who was born and raised at the famous Jamison Quarter Horse Ranch in nearby Quinter, Kansas. She has excellent conformation and a nice profile coupled with plenty of size and ample bone that accompany these bloodlines. She is also a gentle mare who is broke to ride with good ground manners and a calm demeanor. She is a proven broodmare who is willing to share her foal with humans. Her pedigree includes the ranch horse lines of Orphan Drift, Driftwood and Joe Hancock along with some racing greats Diamond Charge, Top Deck and Moon Deck. Dixie Shidrift stands at 15.1 hh and is PSSM1 n/n. Her chestnut AQHA filly sired by our Colonel Hotrodder son can be seen on our Foals page. She is bred to our homozygous ApHC stallion Paradise In White for a 2019 foal.  

Glass Eyed Chex

Chexy is a 2002 sable champagne with a working cow horse build and strong foundation pedigree for ranch work. We have owned this mare since she was a weanling and she is literally a part of our family. She is broke to ride and a gentle horse with a friendly, kind demeanor. Her uncommon color is simply the icing on the cake. Chexy has a pedigree peppered with top performance horses. Her sire is a son of the great Doc's Prescription. Additional bloodlines in her pedigree include Skipity Scoot, Tangerine Chex, Poco Stampede and Stopper Blue. Chexy stands at 14.1 hh with a heart of gold the size of a race horse. She

Jamaicas Gold 
Jamaica is a 2004 classic champagne who has been an excellent producer for our program. She is a kind mare who is foundation-bred with a good build and solid cow horse pedigree to match her gentle disposition. Jamaica was lightly started under saddle by her previous owner and proved to be easy-going and good-minded. She has a quiet disposition and is well-behaved and easy to handle on the ground. Bloodlines include the AQHA horses Blue Valentine, Poco Bueno, Leo and Mr Tailwind. Jamaica stands at 15.1 hh with correct conformation. She 
is five-panel negative for genetic defects. Her blanketed gold champagne filly sired by our national Top-10 and ApHC point-earning stallion Sarkes Brio Frost can be seen on our 2018 Foals page. She is rebred to Frost for a 2019 foal.  
Ms Baron Vantage
Poppy is a 2007 chestnut daughter of our former Pitzer Ranch stallion Two Buck Baron. This outstanding mare with plenty of chrome is not only a gentle rider she is a finished horse with extrensive training. While she is predominantly used as a riding horse we occasionally breed her and she has produced some very nice AQHA and ApHC foals for us. Poppy has a powerful AQHA pedigree chock-filled with world class horses including the AQHA Superhorse Two Eyed Red Buck and the AQHA greats Two Eyed Jack, Mr Baron Red, Harlans Tyree, Top Vantage, Buck The Vantage, Leo and Bufferins Pappy. Poppy stands at 14.3 hh with good width and is five-panel n/n for genetic defects. She is bred to our homozygous ApHC stallion Paradise In White for a 2019 foal.
